By accessing or using Edrox, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account for a minor, you accept these terms on their behalf and are responsible for their compliance with them.
Parent accounts must be created by an adult (18+) with accurate information; parents are responsible for account security. Student login credentials are created by the parent and must not be shared outside the household. Teacher accounts require identity verification, qualification documents, and background declarations before the profile becomes visible to students - see our Child Safety page for details.
Edrox offers Free, Basic, Pro, and Elite plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Razorpay. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refund requests made within 7 days of purchase, where no significant usage has occurred, will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
The AI Tutor provides automated educational assistance and is not a substitute for a qualified teacher or professional educational advice. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete; students and parents should use judgment and verify important academic content. Session/message limits apply based on your subscription plan and are enforced server-side.
Teacher sessions are live video calls with independently-operating, Edrox-verified educators, paid for directly by the parent at the time of booking (never bundled into a subscription plan). Edrox facilitates the connection, scheduling, and payment for these sessions but the teacher is responsible for the instruction delivered. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled session are fully refunded; cancellations inside that 48-hour window incur a 15% late-cancellation fee, since the teacher has already reserved the slot.
All educational content on Edrox - including curriculum-aligned materials, practice tests, worked examples, and AI-generated explanations - is licensed for personal, non-commercial educational use by the enrolled student only. You may not redistribute, resell, scrape, or commercially exploit any content from Edrox.
Users must not: share account credentials; attempt to bypass subscription/session limits or rate limits; use bots or automated tools against the platform; attempt to access another user's data; or contact teachers/students outside Edrox's session and messaging tools. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.
You may close your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a safety risk to minors on the platform, or engage in fraudulent payment activity. On termination, access to paid features ends; we retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Edrox provides educational tools on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for academic outcomes, exam results, or decisions made based on AI Tutor output or teacher advice. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Edrox in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Edrox will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation via our Grievance Officer (see Privacy Policy). Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Edrox after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 7 days before they take effect.
